Autumn Vibes
Autumn by the Sea
The crowds have packed their bags and gone,
Leaving the pine forests to whisper softly in salt air,
Where crimson bogs wake to a chilly dawn,
And weathered shingles face the sea breeze, bare.
Cooler breezes carry ghosts of summer afternoons,
Where children laughed and left footprints in the sand,
Now shadows lengthen early on the quiet dunes,
And autumn's sweet silence settles o'er the land.
